Pierre Janin obtient son diplôme d’architecte DPLG en 2006 à l’ENSASE.
Il est également titulaire d’un master en architecture et philosophie.
Avec son frère, Rémi Janin (diplômé de l’école du paysage de Blois), leur travail est axé sur les rapports entre bâtiments d’exploitation, qualité paysagère et efficacité des pratiques agricoles. Parallèlement à la conduite d’études paysagères pour des fermes en France, ils bâtissent le Pôle régional de manifestations agricoles d’Aumont-Aubrac, en Lozère (2008-2010), un ensemble de bâtiments d’élevage à Bonneval-sur-Arc, en Savoie (2007-2013), ainsi que des équipements publics.
